Frequently asked questions
How do I know which treatment I need?
You don’t have to. Book a skin consultation and we’ll assess your skin together, talk through your goals, and build a plan. You’ll never be guessing from a menu.
Are your treatments safe?
Yes. I’m oncology certified, which means I’ve trained specifically in safe, informed care, including for clients during or after cancer treatment, when skin needs extra care most local clinics aren’t equipped for.
Does it hurt?
Most treatments cause mild sensation rather than pain. For stronger treatments, like hot plasma, you’ll bring your own topical anaesthetic and I’ll tell you exactly what to use. I’ll always tell you honestly what to expect before we start, not after.
What should I do before my appointment?
For most facials, just arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Some peels and skin needling treatments need your skin prepped with the right products beforehand, for example 2 weeks of Vitamin C Reversal Serum and Radiant Brightening Serum before RF needling. I’ll walk you through exactly what your treatment needs when you book.
How long is the downtime?
It depends on the treatment. Facials and peels have little to no downtime. Fusion Plasma and skin needling can bring some redness, with initial improvement visible in 7–10 days and results building over the following weeks. I’ll give you a realistic timeline for your specific treatment at consultation, not a generic one.
Do you treat acne for teenagers?
Yes. Acne in your teens and twenties is one of the things we treat most, in a completely non-judgemental environment. Parents are welcome to join the consultation.
